The reason I came to know Dave and his talented wife and son involved my seeking purchase of land in the Sierra Foothills area of Northern California. As I can attest, it is entirely possible that a personal relationship can devolve out of one initially only of business needs; for that is the effect Dave’s warmth and engagement can bring to any relationship you are lucky enough to choose to develop with him! In Dave’s case, the evidence of his solidity as a person came from obvious and not-so-obvious observations: The intelligent qualities of his immensely capable partner and wife; his adult son’s many amazing talents; the look of their homestead; and, to borrow an expression from the lake on which the Prachts’ gorgeous home sits, the “cut of his jib.” (In my case, my heart went out immediately to Dave, Roby and Curtis; but their love for their big, beautiful dog Cooper told it all: As this lovable four-footer might have said it, in the affection of his greetings: “You chose well, old soul!”)

One more point: When I sought Dave’s business acumen, back in 2004, it was for the purpose of relocating from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills. In my sixties then, I was intent on finding my retirement home. In this pursuit, my realty purchase “had to count”; I did not have the benefit of a career to relive should things have gone wrong.

With Dave, they never came anywhere close to wrong!

Roby and David Pracht sold us our present home as well as selling our previous home.

We interviewed several real estate agents, and chose them because they grasped our needs; were easy to work with; and gave us good advice. In fact, the proverbial “cream did rise to the top”.
